The Ponte Vecchio bridge is called the most expensive place of the city, because of the huge number of stores that realize the gold embellishments and jewelry. In 1258, was erected one of the finest bridges in the city - Ponte Santa Trinita; it is assumed that Bartolomeo Ammanati used the project Michelangelo and created this artwork. Along the edges of the bridge there are four statues of the year seasons. The Ponte alle Grazie appeared in 1237, across the River Arno in Florence, it was named for the Chapel of the Madonna delle Grazie. And the last noteworthy bridge is Ponte alla Carraia, it is “the new bridge” which was reconstructed in 1944.
